Today's rant:

Why would France and Russia want to block a U.N. resolution authorizing the explicit use of force against Iraq? OK, I know there are some readers of this rant that don't believe we should be prosecuting this war against Iraq. The Democrats that agreed last year to support the use of force, yet now that we're actually using it, they're playing partisan politics and balking at the idea. At least they could have had some "fuzzy skin marbles" and stood their ground and backed the men and women who keep their candy-asses safe. Sore losers. And that Hitlery Clinton bitch is using this war to try to take more money from those who earn it, so that she can give it to those who didn't. Bitch. I 'd like to say something stronger, but I know the audience will balk if I call her anything that rhymes with "hunt". Anyway, even the Libertarians are against the liberation of Iraq. They say that Pakistan and other nations present a larger threat, but I am not convinced. The links for France and Russia point out while they say they're our allies, they have secretly been supplying Saddam Hussein with technology to use against our troops. The French, who one day hope to carry weapons into war again, have been supplying Iraq with chemicals to make rocket fuel for the missiles which they deny owning. And we can really trust Iraq that they don't have those missiles, especially after they fired at least 2 SCUDs which they didn't possess at us, and those missiles were shot down by our Patriot batteries. The Russians, our long-time friends, have been making sure that Iraq gets technology to defeat our GPS guidance systems. Not content to just supply the components, they've gone the extra mile to make sure that there are Russians in place in Iraq at this very moment to help Hussein kill our soldiers. Gee, the next thing you know, I bet they'll deflect a cruise missile or two by jamming the GPS system, and have it land in Iran. They could do this for a number of reasons, incluing the design of stealing technology and/or embarassing our Country.

Why Geneva isn't in Iraq. Today's news was particularly for those of us who have family in the military. Iraq was broadcasting on their national television the bodies of dead U.S. soldiers, and showed live U.S. soldiers being humiliated on television. This is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention. If they don't want to honor the treaty that they signed on combat rules, fine. I say we take off the kid gloves and drop some large-scale weaponry on their troops. If they are going to humiliate our soldiers on TV, the least we can do is to humiliate their entire military on TV as we drop a 30,000 pound "Big Blue" on them, or a large-scale Fuel-Air Explosixe (FAE). If that doesn't work, let's start fire-bombing some palaces. Once they're all burned to the ground, I think they'll start changing their tune. If not, let's turn that section of desert into a large glass bowl. We can use it to reflect radio signals from outer-space to a large antenna and study deep space like never before. I used to feel compassion for the "innocents" in these countries, but when you see them on television setting fire to reeds to try to flush out shot-down pilots, (we now know that was a staged scene, and a phony report) you don't see civilians looking to render aid - you see civilians looking to score some quick cash for a body. They don't even treat our dead with dignity.

Irregular troops? Send Ex-lax. What is all of this crap about "irregular troops" on the news? Is this the new P.C. bullshit term for "guerillas"? Why can't we call them what they are? The country isn't a biosanitary storage and containment area - it's a dump. Call it what it is. Sand box for the misbehaving cretins.

Enjoy Turkey. With mayo or mustard. Those bastards first tried to extort money in the tens of billions from us for allowing us to fly some troops into bases there and letting them rumble southeast towards Baghdad. Then they said they were going to send their own troops into northern Iraq. Now they're saying they didn't, because they'll be hell to pay if they are caught. Belgium threatened to block their entry into the European Union (say "European" slowly) if they're sending their troops across the border. Well, while they're playing the "Hokey Pokey" in Iraq,it looks like there are early reports that our troops may have uncovered a "chemical plant" that was used to manufacture banned weapons. Stay tuned for more details.
