Today's rant:

How can you tell if someone is an asshole? Easy, their name is Michael Moore. Even at the Oscars (no, I don't watch that program where people who work less often than longshoremen and make more money than some countries get together to pat each other on their backs, careful not to wrinkle their expensive clothing) Michael Moore was booed. This is like Billy Graham being booed at a prayer service. It never happens. However, when an avowed communist like Moore opens his pie-hole (and let me tell you - he needs to close it more often, judging by his circumference) and starts spouting anti-U.S. rhetoric, nothing good can come of it. Now, not everyone supports military action in Iraq. My own political party doesn't support it. However, since I have some brain matter between my ears, I made my own decision. After seeing how our troops have been humiliated and executed, I'm even MORE convinced that we should open a global-sized can of "whoop-ass" on Saddam's regime. If you don't believe in this cause, that's fine. You have the right to be wrong. If you hate watching our troops die, then you probably don't wear a hat at work. It amazes me that people don't appreciate the power of our Freedoms here, and continue to abuse it with words of hate against those that make the ultimate sacrifice for them to be able to do that. What's wrong with these people? Take this picture for example:

These people make me sick. I hope they get identified, arrested, charged, convicted, and sentenced to death. Talk about hate speech! They're openly advocating murder. They don't deserve this country. Let them set sail with the Baldwins, and Martin Sheen, and Barbra Streisand on their trip out of this country. Remember all of those knuckleheads that said that if Bush took office they'd leave this country? Remember them? Where are they now? In their plush Malibu homes? They don't even have the courage of the conviction of their hate. They just hate Bush and the Republicans so much, that they can't even love their country. Screw them. Send them on a boat. Don't wait for them to leave. Barbra had a nice voice... now she can't get people to watch her on TV. Gee, I wonder why?

The Absolut best laptop? Yes, a laptop that runs on a shot of vodka. Now I've seen everything. If this story is true, and they can power laptops and cell phones with vodka, I can understand them banning cell phones in cars. "But officer, it's for my phone!" Yeah, right. It almost sounds like a good idea. Just like drive-through liquor stores. That's why they don't sell guns and ammo in bars.

Perfidy and treachery. That's how they're describing the Iraqi troops "fake surrender" bullshit that they used on our troops to create an ambush. Aside from the violations to the Geneva Convention, it's still a pathetic, dishonorable action. If they weren't already pathetic losers, the term cowards might insult them. But, as we've seen, there is no depth to the depravity they will stoop to, no horror too great. If you still don't support our troops, then these are the allies you side with. If you don't like the company, perhaps you've chosen poorly.

Miracle in California. No, Gray Davis is still there. But they found Lindsey Ryan alive about 70 miles northwest of Reno. She ran off with a convicted murderer. Nice guy. They met at church, and he told her parents he was "rehabilitated". I guess he meant that he only stooped to kidnapping, and was above murder now. Did I mention she was only 14 years old? This guy served 16 years in prison for murder, more years than she had been alive. They had been trading emails. PARENTS TAKE NOTE. She ran off - since at 14 she obviously knows everything - to meet him and they fled 2,000 miles to California. They were on America's Most Wanted, and someone spotted the truck after that broadcast. Thank you Mr. Walsh for the fine job that you do. I'm sorry that Adam never came back to you, but I hope these little victories help to ease your pain.

Show you give a shit. I got this petition link sent to me by my mother-in-law. Thanks. I was proud to sign it. I joined over EIGHT MILLION others who show our support for the men and women who are in the armed forces.

On a personal note, I send my thoughts to the families and friends of the brave servicemen who've given their lives, their limbs, and their efforts into making the world a better place. Please remember that this is their job, and that we don't pay them enough for what they're going through. I am glad that they are there, and I respect them all for heeding the call. To all our family and friends in the military, I salute you. You help me sleep at night.

If you have ideas, comments, or criticisms, please let me know.
