Why must race pimps seek to degrade race relations at every opportunity? Why do members of the House and Senate use a national tragedy to take cheap shots at the President?

Whenever there's an emergency situation, the FIRST step is the local government takes a look at the situation, and makes decisions for the local area. That means that the FIRST thing that SHOULD have happened, is that the Mayor of New Orleans (MNO) should have taken all of the city buses and school buses and evacuated the city. He could have asked the National Guard to secure the entry points to the city, and hundreds, dare I estimate thousands, of lives could have been saved.

If the mayor cannot handle the situation properly, it is the duty of the MNO to escalate to the Governor of Louisiana (GLA). The Governor can activate state resources to assist, or mandate evacuations, and help get people out of a potentially deadly situation. The GLA can also order the state's troopers to set up evacuation routes with additional lanes, to help get people out of the path of a Category 3, 4, or 5 hurricane.

When the GLA runs out of options, or needs additional help, the GLA is supposed to contact the Feds (IFG), who can declare additional help, via declarations of disaster areas, activating National Guard units, or even using the Department of Homeland Security (USELESS).

When the MNO and GLA sit on their ASSES, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Additional note: To the NY Times reporter who slandered Heraldo Rivera by printing that he pushed aside an aide worker to be filmed helping evacuees, you'd better rethink your options. You'd better retract your story and issue an IMMEDIATE retraction. Considering that 15% of your stories get retractions, you have a lousy track record, and the video you mention directly counters your claim. You have no legs to stand on. You are going to get your ass in big trouble, plus people with think you're a stupid ass, which is even worse than working for the NY Times.

To Kanye West (and others): If you use this tragedy in the Gulf Coast area to play politics, it WILL come back to bite you in the ass. This isn't a time to be a partisan. This is a time to help people. It isn't a "black issue", it isn't a "white issue" - this is about restoring life to tens of thousands of people who are displaced, and need our help. Shut the FUCK UP and start being a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. None of the race pimps are complaining about the white people who were killed, drowned, displaced, or who had their lives destroyed. White people were hurt too. We need to help EVERYONE. But remember, a lot of these people who are now "refugees" are there because they made poor decisions. Don't forget that it wasn't Bush's fault they were poor. If you want to blame someone, start with LBJ and his "Great Society". The cycle of poverty you decry is the direct result of failed Democratic Socialist ideology. People ascend through personal responsibility. No one owes ANYONE alive today anything. If you want something, go out and EARN IT.

Oh yeah, and to Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and John Kerry: fuck you.
