Why do I call the Democrats a "fringe" party?

Look at the John Roberts confirmation vote. Just look at it. Seventy-eight people who were sane voted for him. The other twenty-two knuckleheads, without a valid reason, voted against confirmation.

Now before I get to my "fringe" argument, I remind you that the confirmation vote isn't supposed to be about whether you like the candidate, or whether you agree with his philosophies.

It is supposed to be on whether or not he meets the qualifications necessary to serve on the Supreme Court. Twenty-two ass-clowns said that they think he isn't qualified.

Really, no one can seriously claim he isn't qualified. But since these knuckleheads are partisan politicians, they are only looking at who picked him, not what his qualifications are.

If the nominee was picked by a Democrat, these same 22 would, of course, vote for him, even if he was the same person. They would vilify anyone else who opposed the nominee as "Right-Wing Extremists". The media would sit eagerly at their press conferences, and parrot the same partisan rants, day in and day out.

But I digress.

The reason I call them "fringe" candidates is their geographical locations. Notice that the states are all on the fringe of the country. The states are all coastal, or border another country. Also notice that not one Senator from the South voted against Roberts. The "nays" were all from the "Left Coast", New England, the Northern Midwest (AKA Islamic Homeland), and Hawai'i.

Now, I love Hawai'i, but their Senators are worthless. New England and the Northern Midwest are places I wouldn't live on a bet. And the Left Coast should just fall into the Pacific.

See what else I have to say Previous day's rant
