John Murtha would look better in a burka.
While I've never been a Marine (frankly, I don't think I'd make a good Marine), I understand and appreciate what they do. Now, when I say "appreciate", I don't mean the usual appreciation that most people have, which is a false kind of appreciation that they feel obligated to acknowledge, but the real kind of Thank God We Have You To Protect Us From Evil appreciation that more of us should have.
I thank John Murtha for his service to his (and my) Country. We need canon-fodder such as him to create a berm of debri for real soldiers to use as cover.
I know that sounds harsh, but what should I say about a man who's undermining support for our military during an active conflict? Well, other than I hope they charge him with sedition or treason.
I can't imagine why a former Marine would actually accuse his "comrades in arms" of failure. Unless he's lost his mind, which is looking like a likely culprit. His path down the "dark side" probably started when he joined the Democrats. Either way, he has to go.
Maybe we could just fire him from a cannon into another country.
