What is the greatest threat we face in life today? It's simple - radical religious fanatics. The only way to do religion is in moderation. This may not sound nice, but let's face it, history is on my side. Radical religious groups have caused more deaths in recorded history than any virus, bacteria, or plague. I think the band Rush sounded the warning best: "Those who know what's best for us / Must rise and save us from ourselves." They are convinced that they are doing "God's work", but somehow the concensus doesn't support this view. I remember quite a bit from my religious school days, but I don't remember the verses where God said to kill others who don't believe as you do. I remembered something about judge not, lest ye be judged yourself (or something darn close to that). So, for all of the radical extremists out there, you're missing the boat. The lessons of the 20th century have taught us that the narrow-mindedness you're showing in the 21st century won't be tolerated. So, you have two choices. You can either join the rest of us in what passes for blissful peace, or you can join the extinct components of history.
