The Rush is on to try to get Rush Limbaugh off the radio. If they haven't started calling for the end of his show, it's certainly on the way. What did this man do that was so bad? It's like I told my buddy Steve - it's not that he thought it, it's that he said it. Why did he have to mention McNabb's race? He could have left it alone and just said that McNabb is overrated. Heck, he was even correct. McNabb is overrated. The media keeps talking about him, but he's yet to show that he is in the QB elite of the NFL. After all, Dan Marino threw for 5,084 yards in his second year in the NFL. How long do we give QBs to show that they are the real deal?
While we're on the subject of QBs, let's look at another media-hyped player. Michael Vick. Everyone in Atlanta talks about Michael Vick, and the concensus seems to be that the Falcons will be winless birds until they get their Vick back. Well, that's all fine and dandy. Why was he showboating in a pre-season game again? Why did he do something stupid and risky in a pre-season game? The man's an idiot, and he's going to have a short career if he doesn't figure out that he's just trying to get injured on every play. One thing's for certain - he'll never be a commentator on television. Have you heard this man try to make a sentence? You'll sooner get the collected works of William Shakespeare from monkeys on typewriters than a well-constructed sentence from that man. The sad thing is that he is a college graduate. I guess it doesn't say much about his undergraduate program. Or, maybe it does.
