Howard Dean is a liar. Plain and simple. You hear him talk, and he lies. You want proof? In CNN (a left-leaning news source), even they had to admit that he lied when he was talking to the AFL-CIO (read: union goons). He denied saying that he would cut Medicare benefits (do you hear this old people????), raise the retirement age for Social Security, and raise taxes. Yet, he has been documented as saying those very things. He has already admitted that he would "consider" (read: enact) raising the retirement age to 68 or 70, and repeal tax cuts (read: raise taxes). He also has stated that in 1995 that he would consider cutting Medicare benefits to our wizened citizens. So, he wants to hurt the elderly, and tax the productive people of our country. Why not kick a nun while he's at it? You know, it's sad when Dennis Kucinich is more accurate than Howard Dean. Since Kucinich has clearly left his senses, where does that leave Dean? And I've said before that Hillary Clinton will run for President in 2004 - does that mean that she will come in to be "the voice of reason" for the Democratic (Socialist) Party? Does a woman famous for saying "We are the President!" really sound all that much like a savior?

Another thing - I keep reading the same lie by obviously liberal idiots. The lie continues to propogate the myth that we went to war with Iraq over oil. Since we weren't buying oil from them anyway, and we're clearly not taking it now that we have it, that lie amounts only a statement of ignorance from anyone that utters it. And if they try the red herring that WMD haven't been found, then they didn't notice that Congress voted BEFORE Bush's now famous 16-word controversy to go in with force to remove Hussein. We went to war with Germany and lost how many tens of thousands (maybe even hundreds of thousands?) of soldiers to depose a regime that hadn't attacked our Country. Why should this be so different? The comparisons between Hitler and Hussein are many, and yet we have many in this Country defending him, and wanting to keep him in power there. And if we question them, they cry that their Freedom of Speech rights are being trampled on. No, we have the Right to hold people accountable for what they say and do in this Country. If you want to make your living as an entertainer, and you open your pie-hole on foreign affairs, expect a backlash from those with differing views.

Now, to those who ask about WMDs in Iraq, remember that the evidence isn't all in yet, there are still "miles" of documents to go through. We have already found airplanes buried in the sand to prevent us from finding them. What other things will we find buried in the sand? Remember, an arsenal of anthrax can fit in a swimming pool. We will find it, in time. We've already found the mass graves and taped beatings, rapes, and executions that define the Hussein regime's human rights violations. If we were justified in World War II in goign to Germany to kick ass, then we are even MORE justified in going to Iraq now. If anyone claimes "war for oil" or "no WMD found", I will just think that they are simple-minded dolts who repeat mindless drivel and screed seen on disreputable websites or in third-rate excuses for publications. I will continue to remind them that they have a right to be stupid in this Country, and they are exercising their right.

Let's change the subject before I get mad and break something. Jobless claims are at a 6-month low, which is good. Lower competition means that I might have an easier time trying to find a job.

Next subject: openly gay [insert job here]. Who the [deleted expletive] cares what your sexual preference is? You're hired to do a job. What you do in your spare time and who you do it with are your business. Unless you are unable to function in your job without bringing your sexual preferences to work, you should concentrate on your job, not sex. If you're a steel worker, does it matter if your significant other is named "Pete" or "Petra"? Even in Boy Scouts, we had Scout leaders whose sexual preferences were in question. That didn't deter from their leadership or commitment to their job. If someone uses sexual harassment at work, it doesn't matter if they are gay or straight - they get fired anyway. So, leave sex to the bedroom, and hire someone based upon their skills and qualifications to get the job done. Don't try to change people from who they are - acceptance and tolerance are virtues. If you're so wrapped up in your religion that you can't allow others to be different, perhaps you should read your book again.

Al Sharpton is now crying racism (when did he ever stop crying racism?) over the media's indifference to his candicacy. He's claiming that it's the "white ownership" that denies him coverage. Maybe he should look at the poll numbers. Many people think that Carrot Top stands a better chance of being nominated, and Charles Manson has a better chance of being elected. Al Sharpton is entitled to run for President, but it's hard to see someone who's served time in prison occupying the White House. However, it would be easy to see someone who's already been in the White House serve time in prison (can they throw his wife in too?).
